CHALLENGE: “Design an irresistable print ad for a new book, but don’t show the book.”

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED: With the cover photo as the base, I decided to really play up the word “Fabulous” as our quote, adding a white bar across the busiest part of the image to frame essential information (title, authors) and rounding it off with a very prominent, “Available wherever books are sold,” to make it absolutely clear that this is an advertisement for a book.
